Delicious home-cooked food
Our pub menu offers tasty dishes that will satisfy even the biggest appetite. Enjoy a meal at our friendly pub in Prestbury with a cracking pint of Robinsons beer.
A 17th Century coaching inn in the heart of Prestbury Village. Steeped in history and full of period features from its low ceilings to its panelled walls, The Rodney is popular with the villagers and visitors to this historic village. Offering a great selection of cask ales and traditional home-cooked food.
Named after the famous British Naval Officer, a contemporary of Admiral Horatio Nelson, the Admiral Rodney offers you a warm and hearty welcome. The pub nestles amongst a delightful row of shops just before you reach the village centre. As you step into The Rodney, it is as if you are stepping back in time, no juke box or pool tables, the atmosphere, the decor and the courteous service will all remind you of a bygone era. In fact, visitors and regulars alike have gathered around a pint in the Rodney since the early 18th Century. Over the years, it has won the Robinsons' best kept cellar award and currently is a Cask Marque member and a Robinsons Gold Award winning pub, proud to serve 3 cask ales at all times. There is also a courtyard garden for the summer months where you can sit and watch the world go by.
We offer one of the finest selections of beers, gins, prosecco and even coffee in Prestbury. Enjoy a relaxing morning coffee, sample our impressive selection of gins or celebrate your next special occasion with the perfect pint of cask ale.
