THE MULBERRY BOASTS FRESH NEW LOOK FOR CONWY FOLLOWING INVESTMENT

Award-winning Conwy marina pub/restaurant, The Mulberry gets a make-over ready for Spring. The impressive waterfront pub and restaurant owned by Robinsons expects the destination venue will become even more popular with the yachting community, locals and tourists alike.

The Robinsons’ in-house design team has further elevated the aesthetics of the pub which has already won awards for its design. The pub’s make-over accentuates the nautical surroundings by bringing the outside in, through the use of its blue and white colour schemes and marine-themed fixtures and fittings.

The updated design has been created by upcycling the existing furniture to include Aztec-inspired upholstery and a stylish navy tone to contrast the light wood tones of the walls and flooring. The pub has altered the layout downstairs, creating smaller more intimate spaces, whilst increasing the seating capacity.

Upstairs the Crow’s Nest room has transformed into a space where more groups can enjoy the stunning views from the window through the addition of three booth tables looking out onto the marina. The area features bespoke warm lighting designed by suspended timber dinghies from the roof, and custom-designed rafters filled with seagrass and pebbles to mimic the Welsh coastline. The function room area has been given a facelift too with darker furniture which enhances both the picturesque view from the window and the sea buoy-inspired lampshades.

Jason, General Manager at The Mulberry said: “I’m delighted with the changes, it’s transformed the downstairs area into somewhere a little more private and inviting by getting rid of some of the open spaces. We’re always busy and have had to turn people away before, it’s great to have created more space and tables for our guests”.

With outdoor seating overlooking the marina, The new-look Mulberry is a brilliant place to kick back and enjoy a meal with friends, family, and even the dog! Their pub-style menus are inspired by the best the land and sea has to offer, with a focus on serving freshly prepared plates alongside a fantastic selection of beers and wines.
