We are delighted to announce that The Bulls Head in Hale Barns has completed a major seven-figure investment, unveiling a new purpose-built accommodation lodge following a 27-week development project that began in October 2025. After three years of meticulous planning and consistently having high occupancy rates in their current accommodation, we wanted to enhance the Bulls Head's offering and increase the offering to new and existing guests, and for those visiting for the weekend, on a business trip or even before or after a flight from Manchester Airport.

The lodge, featuring 14 new bedrooms, increases the total number of rooms from 21 to 35 and includes four family rooms with bunk beds, one large premium room, and nine standard rooms. The lodge is surrounded by new planters, which will come into full bloom over the summer.

As part of the investment, two of the pub’s existing rooms have been refurbished, resulting in one room becoming a fully accessible bedroom. Inside the pub, additional improvements have been made to enhance the breakfast experience for overnight guests. These improvements come after gradual investments over the years, from the installation of EV car chargers to solar panels.

“We are so excited to welcome new and returning guests to the new lodge. It is stunning, and all of the teams involved have done a fantastic job creating rooms that feel premium and perfectly in keeping with the rest of the pub. We can’t wait for guests to experience it!”
