MEET NEW MANAGERS FOR THE LEGH ARMS, PRESTBURY
Nestled in the picturesque Cheshire village of Prestbury, the Legh Arms - a recently refurbished Robinsons’ dog-friendly pub with bedrooms – is now under exciting new management who took over the popular pub on Monday 24th January.
Craig and Louise Sherrington (pictured below) are the perfect pair when it comes to hospitality and come with a wealth of experience to bring to the much-loved village pub. Craig has been a chef since he left school, and studied catering at Lancaster and Morecambe College, which at the time, was the Centre of Excellence for Catering and Hospitality. You will find Craig engaging with customers and having a chat with the locals, getting feedback on his delicious dishes. Having trained under Michelin-starred chefs Eric Chavot and David Everitt, customers at the Legh Arms will certainly be in for a treat! The pub is renowned for being one of the best places to eat in Cheshire, with a menu of only the freshest produce and legendary Sunday Roasts – browse their delicious menus here.
Craig Sherrington said: “I am always pushing forward with new, innovative, and exciting dishes. I have prepared the first menu at The Legh right back down to good quality pub style food. With many years’ experience in highly skilled and refined dishes at Michelin level, I have the ability to create simple dishes very well whilst I build a team here at the Legh who can move forwards together.”
Breathing new life into the venue, Louise brings excellent customer service skills and an eye for perfection. Having studied Bio Medical Science and working for the NHS in Haematology and Transfusion, Louise has built up a critical eye and want for precision, lending itself perfectly to her current roll! Former Land Lady at The General Burgoyne (another Robinsons’ pub), Louise brings knowledge and experience to the Legh Arms.
