Following a seven-week refurbishment, the Bulkeley Arms, Menai Bridge has reopened its doors. The refurbishment has seen the entire ground floor trading space refreshed, improving the flow throughout the pub and creating a stronger connection between each room. A new bar and back bar now provide a focal point for the pub and acts as the heart of the Bulkeley Arms.
Inside, the pub has been updated with a warm colour scheme, leather fixed seating and traditional barrel tables, while a mix of loose and fixed furniture in the pool room offers greater flexibility for both drinkers and social groups. New timber flooring has also been installed throughout, bringing a consistent look and feel across the space.

The lower room has been transformed into a dedicated sports area, complete with a pool table and darts board. A new screen has been added to create a clearer separation from the toilet entrance, helping the space feel more self-contained. The customer toilets have also been fully refurbished.
Outside, the pub has been given a fresh new look with a two-tone decoration scheme, new signage, planting and lighting. Pendant lighting in the front windows and mood lighting help create ambience in the evenings.

We are delighted with the Bulkeley Arms’ refreshed new look. The investment has reestablished the pub’s presence in the town while remaining true to its community roots, creating an even better experience for locals and new visitors.
