New Mills Lights Switch-On: Experience the joy of Christmas with a Peak District Christmas lights switch on.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS

November 30th - December 2nd:

Experience the charm of Kirkby Lonsdale during its Christmas Fair Weekend, featuring a variety of town-wide events and festivities. Pay a visit to the Red Dragon whilst your visiting the festive market town.


December 1st:

Explore the charming Christmas market around Sandbach and pop into the Market Tavern, featuring local artisans and vendors offering unique gifts and holiday treats.


December 2nd - 4th:

Embrace the holiday spirit at Ashton-Under-Lyne's Christmas markets, where you can find an array of handcrafted goods and delicious seasonal delights. Pop into the Broadoak to warm up afterwards.

December 9th:

Head to The Andrew Arms in Compstall for a delightful Christmas market experience in their car park, featuring a variety of stalls and seasonal goodies. Why not take a walk crisp walk around Etherow park beforehand too.

Explore the nearby market and ice rink, just a short 5-minute walk from the Three Mariners, for a delightful day out with family and friends.

CHRISTMAS WREATH WORKSHOP


December 2nd:

Join The White Lion Great Longstone for their Christmas Wreath Workshop. Get creative at The White Lion's Christmas workshop, where you can craft your own festive decorations while enjoying mulled wine and mince pies.

MEET SANTA


December 16th:

Enjoy Breakfast with Santa in the Peak District. Treat your little ones to a magical morning with Santa at The White Lion, Great Longstone. Enjoy crafts, breakfast, a small gift, and a heart warming story with Santa himself.

Witness the enchanting arrival of Santa in Lancaster. 🎅 Catch Santa with the majestic Robinsons Shire Horses at Wagon & Horses in Lancaster, accompanied by live music for a truly festive experience.


December 18th:

Gather for carols and meet Father Christmas in the heart of Garstang, spreading holiday joy and creating cherished memories. Enjoy festive cheer at the Royal Oak afterwards.

December 23rd - 24th:

Share a special breakfast with Santa at The Wagon & Horses in Lancaster and create cherished moments for your little ones.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS

December 16th, 23rd and 24th:

Join the community of Cheadle for a festive evening of carol singing with the St. Cuthbert's Church choir at the Printers Arms. Immerse yourself in the spirit of the season from 6 pm onwards to celebrate. The Printers are also hosting Christmas Hitmix Music Bingo from 8.30pm on the 23rd December, and Christmas Eve Karaoke from 7:30pm with DJ Andy - so you're certainly in for a good time!

Join the Kirkby Lonsdale community for heart-warming carols around the tree at the Red Dragon, accompanied by mulled wine to keep you warm on Christmas Eve.

Ashton 6th Form College Christmas Fair: Visit Ashton 6th Form College for their Christmas Fair, where you can find unique gifts and support local artisans and businesses.
