What happens at the Visitors Centre?
Our Old Unicorn Brewery Visitors Centre is a free to enter museum, bottle shop and space to host meetings and events. It's located within the working offices of our Stockport brewery and pub co. Although we no longer brew on this site, the space is still popular with people wanting to learn more about the heritage of Robinsons, shopping to stock up their fridge, or hiring the spaces for private events.

EXPLORE OUR MUSEUM
The story of Robinsons is one that stretches back over 185 years, from humble beginnings to becoming one of the UK’s largest independent family brewers, with around 250 pubs across the North West and Wales. Our Visitors Centre has a small free entry museum to learn about our history and also purchase some of our bottled beers.

Shop your favourite Robinsons beers
Our Robinsons brewery bottle shop sells all our bottled beers individually or in cases too. You can also get your hands on iconic or limited edition merchandise, glassware and other bits to set the stage of your home bar.
Our opening and closing times are Monday to Friday 10am until 4pm. Function bookings outside of these hours are invited and can be arranged to suit your individual needs. For bespoke bookings please call 0161 612 4100 or complete our online enquiry form.
All meetings spaces and rooms at Robinsons are accessible by wheelchair. There is a lift on site.
Yes, the nearest parking is our Visitors Centre parking right across the road! Spaces are limited and subject to availability, and some spaces are available for mobility-impaired visitors only. However, should our car park be full, there is a pay & display car park next to the church which is just around the corner. There are also on-street car parking spots up and down Hillgate.
As of May 2024, Robinsons are no longer operating Brewery Tours. Our shop and museum is still open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm.
You can find all our bottled beers at our Visitors Centre on Apsley Street in Stockport. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm.
Yes, if the Shire Horses are at home, we can take you over to say hello. We recommend you give us a call ahead of time if you're making a trip especially to see the horses.
