Robinsons Brewery in Stockport will celebrate the launch of their new seasonal beer, Citra Pale Ale, by giving away 72 FREE pints!
The 3.8% ABV golden beer is the fourth of six exclusive ales that the Cheshire family brewer will release over the course of the year.
“Our seasonal range has always been extremely popular” said John Robinson, Brands Manager for Robinsons Brewery. “It’s a great way for us to experiment with new flavours and Citra is no different. We have created a delicious American style IPA which has notes of passion fruit and tropical flavours whilst delivering an intense hop finish.”
The brand new ale follows on from the highly successful Brazilian beer which saw over 32,000 pints quaffed during May and June. In fact, the beer was so popular that the brewery was drunk dry!
“Brazilian was so popular that the brewery was drank dry!” joked John. “We are certainly hoping the same demand for Citra as it really is a perfect summer drink and very on trend with the growing appreciation for craft and cask ales.”
To celebrate the launch of the beer, Robinsons Brewery will be giving away 72 free pints of the beer on Thursday 10th July at their Visitors Centre on Apsley Street in Stockport.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than giving away a FREE firkin of beer! We want to invite everyone down to the brewery to enjoy a ‘Thirsty Thursday’ with us!”
Citra Pale Ale is available nationally via listings with Heineken, Carlsberg and Punch, and regionally via selective Robinsons’ pubs across Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Derbyshire, Wales and Staffordshire. Available only until the end of August – so get it while you can!
(Thirsty Thursday will take place at Robinsons Visitors Centre from 10am on Thursday 10th July. 72 free pints will be given away on a first come, first served basis with 1 pint per person)
