The Globe is situated off the historic market place in the small, but busy market town of Ulverston, Cumbria. Situated on the main A590 between Newby Bridge and Barrow in Furness. Ulverston festivals attracts participants and visitors from around the world.
There are numerous places of historical significance to visit in Ulverston. It's the birthplace of Stan Laurel: of the Quaker movement. The Paris Church was founded in 1111 AD and has a Tudor tower. Ulverston is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is now home to one of Europe's largest Buddhist communities.
