Overview

The Windmill is a traditional British pub with seven en-suite bedrooms, set in the heart of Cheshire, only minutes from connecting M6 and M56 motorways. The pub was totally rebuilt early in the millennium replacing the 16th century listed building on the site. The brewery design team have attempted to retain some of the historic charm of the previous building, with low-beamed ceilings. The old front door is all that remains of the old incarnation. All the bedrooms are fully en-suite with everything you would expect of a modern three-star hotel but within a convenient country inn setting. Two of the bedrooms can be offered as family rooms with either a double sofa bed or child’s cot. Robinsons are looking for a new licensee with some food and hotel background. The new licensee will need to push the food and room offering via social media. This is a perfect opportunity to drive forward this fantastic establishment.

The Detail

A Little more about us

The Windmill is set in the Cheshire countryside, in the village of Tabley, just on the out skirts of Knutsford. It is just a stone’s throw from the historic stately home of Tabley House. The main village of Knutsford is a mere 1.9 miles from Tabley. Here you will find cobbled streets and quaint buildings. One of the main to pulls to Knutsford is the national trust site of Tatton Park. As well as the historic house to visit, there is also an array of festivals that take place over the year, pulling people in from all over the country.
