Overview

The Sycamore is a traditional community local pub, situated on Stamford Square, directly opposite the wonderful Stamford Park in Ashton-under-Lyne. This pub has everything that you would expect to have from your traditional local. Having been refurbished four years ago, the pub has kept its traditional feel, yet with light and airy colours. There is a large, long bar that services the main bar area, which is well stocked with Robinsons cask ales as well as a wide selection of kegged lager and ciders. There is something for everyone on this bar, with a great selection of wines and spirits. There is live entertainment every Thursday with their famous open mic nights as well as the Monday night quiz. Live Sky and BT Sports are also a hit in the pub, with a large following for the football. Behind the main bar you will find the restaurant/function room which can seat around 50 people and also has its own bar!  The pub currently caters for large functions, christenings, baby showers, funerals etc, however, there is an opportunity to put a regular food offering within the pub as there is a large and well equipped kitchen. The Sycamore is a pub for all ages and offers something for everyone. Robinsons are looking for a new licensee to continue with the great wet offering and to expand the current food offering.
