Little Budworth is situated in the midst of beautiful central Cheshire and the pub happily welcomes walkers and lovers of the countryside. It is adjacent to the extensive Budworth Common and Oulton Park Racing Circuit, meaning that the pub gets busy during race days at the park. Delamere Forest with ‘Go Ape’ activity centre is a short drive away along with other attractions including, Blakemere Village, Cheshire Polo Club, Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre, Southview Equestrian Centre, Peckforton & Beeston Castle, Nunsmere Hall, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, the Sandstone Trail and numerous other attractions. Situated close to the historic city of Chester and many attractions including Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium and Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village, the Red Lion is the ideal weekend getaway. The pub is currently motorcycle friendly and well placed for the Northwich `Thundersprint`.
