Overview

This famous historical pub is in the picturesque village of Great Urswick, Cumbria. It offers a wide array of Robinsons real ales, wines and spirits, the perfect spot to relax and unwind in one of the finest traditional country pubs in the Lake District. There is a single bar serving the bar and restaurant areas, the bar area itself has lots of nooks and crannies for people to enjoy a good pint of Robinsons real ale, especially in front of one of the two log burning fires. Walkers and cyclists enjoy the pub as a start or finish point for their hikes up into the Lakeland Fells. There is also the addition of the large conservatory restaurant, which gives a roomy and airy feel to the pub. On the first floor there is a function room accommodating 30 guests with private bar and toilet facilities. Robinsons are looking for a new business partner to drive both the wet and dry sales within the General Burgoyne. They must have a love for real ales, and a want to enjoy living the Lake District life! This is the perfect opportunity to make your mark on a historical pub.
