The General Burgoyne is a cosy country pub that sits in the picturesque village of Great Urswick, one and a half miles off the A590 between Dalton and Ulverston. The villages of Great Urswick and Little Urswick, together called Urswick, are in the Furness peninsula in Cumbria, England. They are situated to the south-west of the town of Ulverston.
