The Astley Arms, or the Top Astley as it is locally known is both large and welcoming. Set back off the road the pub sits squarely at the top of the hill,  Following a large refurbishment in 2019, the Astley Arms has had a complete overhaul of the interior. It now has that wow factor when walking into the pub, but keeping the traditional pub feel. The handcrafted large bar is the central point to this open plan gem, the bar is fully stocked with the usual Robinsons cask ales, as well as kegged beers, wines and spirits. There is a games room to the side of the pub that caters for both pool and darts and even the odd dominoes game. The Astley Arms is a real community treasure with the local sports community, offering both Sky and BT TV across multiple televisions. The community is brought together by a weekly quiz night on a Wednesday and karaoke on a Friday. The Astley also offers top quality, value for money food and is renowned locally for its Sunday lunches. To the rear of the Astley, you will also find a large beer garden with seats for around 60 people which is a little suntrap in the summer months. The pub also boosts a  large function room on the 1^st floor, which can hold up to 50 people comfortably. Robinsons are looking for a new business partner to enhance the already good offer that is in the Astley. The new licensee will want to join in with the local community, keeping the Astley at the heart of Dukinfield.
