The Prince William Inn is in the village of Dalton, nr Wigan and close to Parbold, Upholland and Ormskirk and south of the River Douglas. Set within the beautiful Lancashire countryside, the local landscape is dominated by Ashurst Hill and is crowned by Ashurst’s Beacon, boasting stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It is an ideal starting and/or finishing point for country walks and cycling trips.

Near by are great views and nice country walks, it is also a start and finish point for keen cyclists and walkers alike.
The Prince is located on a very large site and benefits from a good-sized open plan lounge with an open fire for relaxed drinking and dining. There is also a games area which currently boasts two pool tables and gaming machines. The pub also has a large well-equipped catering kitchen. Outside, there is a large car park (70 cars), children’s play area, and beer garden. A bonus to the pub, is the beer patio, with a retractable cover fitted with a TV and an external food hut to cater for extra demand on busier summer days.
