Overview

The Old Pack Horse is a fine example of a traditional red brick community pub which caters for all age groups of the is community. This well-established pub is fantastically sports orientated with teams for darts, pool and quiz league and live sports with an emphasis on football, especially the Manchester clubs! Superbly located on the busy Stamford Road junction and surrounded by chimney pots, the Old Pack Horse is nicely situated for easy access to the busy Denton Road, M67 and M60 motorways and is near the Denton shopping centre. The Old Pack Horse is a nice sized pub with one main room and several small snugs leading off it. As you enter the pub, you pass the pool table and darts area on your right. The decor is traditional and cosy with cast iron open fires, comfortable seating and historic memorabilia. It has one large wooden bar with seating that services the main room. The pub also benefits from a large car park and well-maintained courtyard beer garden.
