Haughton Green is a large village in Tameside, Greater Manchester, it is mainly a residential area that has roughly 3,000 households. Many of the shops and services are located on the main road of the old village, Haughton Green Road, which includes a post office and many other shops.

Just outside the main area of Denton in Haughton Green this community local is a real find. Known locally as the “little chap”, this traditional pub is a pleasant place to spend some time sampling a great range of drinks. It has a large garden and covered area to the rear of the pub and is an ideal place to stop come rain or shine.

The Chapel has a traditional layout with a vault and a lounge, there is also a third room that has a pool and football table and can be used for functions. The pub has recently been extended into the cottage next door, allowing the toilets to be moved and refurbished creating more space in the third room. There is a working commercial kitchen that is currently doing approximately £15,600 per year on food. At the rear of the property there is a greenhouse, storage and a beer garden. In the Summer a marque is erecting outside and live bands have performed there.
