THINKING OF RUNNING YOUR OWN PUB?
There are lots of reasons why our customers enjoy running a pub. Probably one of the biggest reasons is that they’re ‘people’ people. By doing what they do, they have the opportunity to not only have an enjoyable career, but also a very rewarding and profitable one.
A pub can provide you with a charming home, a superb social life…but most of all, a successful business.
You’ll need to be a hard worker, passionate and dedicated. And you’ll need to manage staff as well as customers (juggling skills help). One thing’s for sure…every day is different!
We appreciate that taking on a pub (or even a new one, if you’ve had one before) is a big decision. That’s why we’re here to help and support you every step of the way. Why not call us for a chat on 0161 612 4112.
In fact why not visit our YouTube channel and hear direct from our licensees about what running a Robinsons pub means to them.
Never run a pub before? Don't worry, we will guide you through the recruitment process, help you gain the relevant qualifications and continue offering unrivalled support once you take on your ideal Robinsons pub business.
MANAGED OR TENANTED:
What’s the difference between managed and tenanted pubs?
TENANTED: You rent the pub from the Brewery, with a contract to buy all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from us. Apart from that, you’re your own boss! At Robinsons there are no rent reviews and our agreements are completely transparent to make sure you have no nasty surprises when it comes to repairs, redecoration or compliance obligations. The majority of Robinsons pubs are tenancies.
MANAGED: A managed pub on the other hand is a pub that is run by a company, who then appoint managers and other staff to run the business.
WORK WITH US: While Robinsons may only have a small number of Managed pubs, we're always on the lookout for bright, talented, hard working individuals with excellent customer service skills to work in them. We offer a range of opportunities from bar and waiting staff to chefs, kitchen staff and managers. Latest managed roles can be viewed here.
