Longnor is not only famous as the village where the TV series Peak Practice was filmed, but also for Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, a typical village local in the heart of the Peak District National park.

Friendly dogs are always welcome on leads, so feel free to bring your four legged friend along! Although very much a locals’ pub with the usual pub games, we’re also known for our excellent home-cooked food served in the lounge and dining room. For drinkers, we offer a range of Robinsons cask ales and a selection of quality wines. Across the road, we have a converted barn with four en-suite bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and furnished.
