The Windsor Castle is a traditional country local situated on the junction between Compstall and Marple Bridge. It is in the heart of the walking country with popular routes in neighbouring Brabyns Park and Etherow Country Park.

The Windsor Castle has achieved both a Cask Marque accreditation and Robinsons Gold Award for its beers and cellar. They are proud to offer at least 4 cask ales at all times. Through the week there is plenty going on from its regular Thursday quiz night to live music, alongside more traditional pub games. One thing guaranteed is the friendly relaxed atmosphere available to your entire family... including your pet dog!

We offer live music here at the Windsor Castle every Friday from 9pm, why not pop down and join in on the fun? (When the weather is nice, we do it on a Saturday at 6pm outside).
FOOTBALL & Live Sport
Head down to the Windsor Castle to watch the football and other live sport such as boxing! With a great crowd and a vibrant atmosphere, we're more than happy to welcome you.
CHIPPY TUESDAY
Grab yourself a hearty fish and chips! We have a van in the car park from 12pm till 8pm every Tuesday, with a pensioners special until 3pm. You can order in the pub and have them brought to you, or you can order a delicious take away. Yum!
