Welcome to the White Horse, where you can relax and enjoy good food, good wines and beers in a cosy environment. We are a traditional family pub with an open area and offer a cosy and relaxing area to dine and drink. The White Horse is a Grade 2 listed building, built in 1896, and has gone through a number of significant changes while serving the village of Disley. With Lyme Park just a few hundred metres away, the White Horse is the perfect place to relax after a long country walk. So, whether you’re look for a quick pint or a hearty meal, a warm welcome is always guaranteed at the White Horse.

Warm up with a hearty Sunday roast after exploring Lyme Park and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Whether you’ve been out for a walk or simply fancy a relaxing afternoon, join us for the perfect end to your weekend. Booking is recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome.
half term halloween fun at the white horse
Join us from the 28th October – 31st October from 12-6pm for Halloween fun to entertain the kids during half term. There is free family games, colouring in the ‘spooky funhouse’ and don’t forget to add us to your Trick or Treat on Halloween. There is no need to book, just pop into the White Horse to grab your Toast Ghost entry sticker before you head over.
Lyme Park
