Waggon & Horses

The Waggon & Horses is a friendly and comfortable family run pub. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced food freshly prepared by our team of chefs, we have fantastic drinks selection with plenty of refreshing beers, cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We’re located on the top of what is locally called “The Deep Cutting” or the “Frog In The Wall” on the main Stalybridge to Glossop road. You can book a table in our restaurant area via our booking link or by giving us a call. We have a large area by the bar, these tables are exclusively available for walk-ins. We’re a dog friendly pub, but we only allow dogs in the bar area. Unfortunately, we don’t allow table bookings for customers with dogs in the restaurant.

Our menu is an extensive traditional pub menu running alongside that are specials and the locally renowned Sunday lunch menu. The Waggon & Horses is a very family friendly place to go, whether for a relaxing drink or a family gathering everyone is catered for. It has 2 cask ales, a selection of lagers, ciders, soft drinks and an extensive wine list. We are open every day both lunchtimes and evenings.
