Welcome to The Tollemache Arms, a family-friendly 16th century inn conveniently positioned on the Chester Road in Alpraham between Nantwich and Chester. The Tollemache is full of character and charm with many period features & exposed oak beams. The former barn belonged to Baron Tollemache in the 19th century and has been transformed into an inviting traditional coaching in, complete with a large family garden, children’s play area, and original fireplaces. We are dog friendly, so please feel free to bring your pets with you when you come to visit. Our real fire is the perfect space to warm up by in the colder months. Join us for traditional home-cooked pub food with an award-winning Robinsons cask ale, or choose from our excellent drinks selection.

Join us at the Tollemache Arms this festive season. Throughout December, we have a range of Christmas events and celebrations to help get you into the festive spirit.
Our Christmas Set Menu is available at £28 for two courses or £34 for three courses. Once you have made your booking*, please complete and return your pre-order form no later than four days before your visit.

Enjoy a proper pie and a pint at our pub for just £18, the perfect pairing for a relaxed and satisfying meal. Tuck into a hearty, freshly baked pie with rich, comforting flavours, served alongside your choice of a well-kept pint, glass of wine or soft drink. Whether you’re catching up with friends or stopping by after work, our pie and a pint offer is a simple, great-value way to enjoy good food and drink.

Don’t forget that every Wednesday – Friday, we’re offering two main courses for just £18 from 12pm – 5pm.

Rainy day? No problem! We’ve got plenty of indoor entertainment to keep you busy. Along with our darts board, we also have a pool table for some friendly competition. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more relaxed, we offer a variety of board and card games to enjoy with friends or family.
