Welcome to the Railway, we can’t wait to welcome you! We are a family friendly, dog friendly pub in Marple. We serve 3 or 4 cask ales from our award-winning cellar, complimented by a fantastic selection of wine and spirits. We also offer a large lunch menu with home cooked food, at a great affordable price.

We host regular activities, alongside live sport and music, making us the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and have a drink. Conveniently located near Marple Centre and the Middlewood Way, we’re ideally placed for visitors from Macclesfield and Bollington too. With a large free car park, spacious beer garden, and terrace area, we offer plenty of room to unwind. We’re also a great spot for train enthusiasts to watch the action go by. We show all the big live events with Sky and BT Sport, so you won’t miss a moment – whether it’s boxing, football, rugby, or more.

Our pub menu offers tasty dishes that will satisfy even the biggest appetite. Enjoy a meal at our friendly pub in Rose Hill with a cracking pint of Robinsons beer. Our menu is constantly changing so check out our specials board in the pub to see what’s on.

Family Fun Day – 5th September

Join us on Saturday 5th September for our charity family fun day in aid of the British Heart Foundation. The fun day starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm. We will have live music, games, a raffle with prizes and food and drink all for a great cause so come down and show your support!

DragonFest – 10th October

Join us on Saturday 10th October from 4pm onwards for DragonFest. There will be four great original bands all giving their time in aid of Oliver’s Dragons children’s charity. Tickets will be £7 on the door (advance tickets will be priced at £5 – link will be provided soon). Featuring; The DN5 – Blues rock, Dave Aston – acoustic folk punk, Holiday Weather – Indie rock, DEAD HIGHWAYMEN – Punk rock – Plus a DJ set from DJ Liquidator to finish the night. Get down, have a great time, maybe find your new favourite band and help a great cause in the process. See you there!
