The Navigation is on the main Stockport to Hyde road in the midst of the bustling and pleasant suburb of Woodley. The pub is very much a traditional local house with a rotating range of Robinsons cask ales and a warm welcome. Hidden from general view is a tidy and sheltered beer garden which is fully enclosed and situated at the rear, however, the pubs main feature is its first-class bowling green, which plays host to several national competitions, and a weekly local bowling club.
