A well-loved pub happily serving Romiley residents for over 200 years, The Friendship Inn is ideally located a short stroll from the shops and close to the beautiful Peak Forest Canal. Well served by its large car park to the rear, the pub also offers a cheerful children's play park with swings and slide overlooking the green. There are three outside seating areas for a perfect pint in the sun, the first at the side of the playpark, the second undercover in our marquee, and the third, a flower-filled patio. The pub is also dog friendly throughout, so feel free to bring all friendly four legged friends with you!

Bottled ciders and Trooper amongst the wide selection of bottled drinks, a great choice of gins, wines, and spirits. The customers and staff at the Friendship are a friendly bunch, enjoying life in a classic Romiley pub, where you too can enjoy a well-kept pint. We’re a truly family-friendly pub with a fantastic enclosed play area located beside our car park and five-a-side football pitch. With swings, slides, and plenty of space to roam, it’s the perfect spot for children to play. The play area and green become a real suntrap in the spring and summer, creating an ideal place for families to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
We have a fantastic entertainment room in the pub, complete with a pool table, dartboard, TV, plenty of seating, and even a fruit machine. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or the kids, there’s something to keep everyone entertained.
