Swan & Chequers is a popular town centre bar. The bar features a large enclosed courtyard to enjoy a pint al fresco. Indoors you can enjoy the open plan bar whilst has taken design inspiration from London's Metropolitan underground line. From enjoying a quiet pint of real ale in the corner or a fresh morning coffee to cocktails on a night out, Swan and Chequers takes you from morning 'til evening. Swan and Chequers has plenty of history about the place too, with Winston Churchill having addressed the town from the balcony once upon a time.
