The Star & Garter is a welcoming three storey Victorian pub standing at the top of Hillgate. Today the Star & Garter is a busy, friendly, family run community pub.

Great value bar food is served daily, popular with the many small businesses in the area. Live sport and traditional pub games have a strong following at the Star & Garter.
