Tucked away in a quiet corner of New Mills, the Rock Tavern is a thriving little pub opposite the entrance to the Torrs.

The Rock perches high above the Torrs Riverside Park and spectacular Millennium Walkway. Pool and other traditional pub games are played on a regular basis. For those visiting the nearby New Mills Art Theatre, the Rock is a convenient place to have that pre or post theatre drink. We have an outdoor heated drinking area as well as a car park for customers.

We can cater to all of your needs, we have a wide selection of food vendors who can cater to every budget, we have a huge selection of bands, singers/musicians to choose from, you can set a budget and we can work around that. Even on the tightest budget we can help create your perfect day! And we don’t charge a fee for using our venue!!! That’s right we are free to hire!!! You can pick your colours and decorate how you like or we can decorate for you. This is a budget friendly way of saying ‘I Do’ but still keeping your special day just how you want it, we are the perfect place to host your wedding/parties.
