The Frederic Robinson family used to take a short walk to the Red Bull for a well-earned pint and catch up of the days event! This award-winning pub is a hidden gem in the city centre, a fusion of old-world charm and fresh thinking. The pub is situated a short walk from the town centre and only 6 miles from the Manchester City Centre, you really would struggle to be in a better position than the Red Bull. Stockport Fungi Book Club
Join us for Stockport Fungi Book Club on the first Tuesday of every month from 6–8pm. We’ll read a chapter together each session, so there’s no pressure to finish the whole book in advance — or even to make it every time. You’re welcome to just listen in (no need to read out loud if you’d rather not). It’s a relaxed, friendly way to get together, explore the fascinating world of fungi, and chat about what we’ve read.
