Welcome to the Dandy Cock! A friendly local serving families, walkers, cyclists and dogs alike. We are a village local situated on the A6 in the heart of Disley Village.

Just a stone’s throw from Lyme Park and with good links to the Peak Forest Canal, we are perfect as a stop off after a visit to the Peak District. After a long walk why not come and warm up by one of our fires with a good pint of beer and a classic pub meal or a Sunday roast.

Enjoy a meal in our friendly pub with a cracking pint of Robinsons beer. We have a regular choice of home made pies, pub classics and lite bites available every lunch time. Our kitchen can be opened outside of usual food service times for larger parties, please ask the team for details.

Breakfast in Disley

We are open on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast from 10.30am. Choose from a Full English, choice of omelettes, bacon or sausage butties, plus smaller options are available. A range of hot drinks are available, plus the bar is open throughout.

The Peak Forest Canal, stretching from Marple to Whaley Bridge, connects some of the Peak District’s most beautiful spots, including Disley and New Mills. Whether you’re walking, cycling, or just enjoying the scenery, stop by the Dandy Cock for a refreshing drink or a hearty meal.
