About Us

A well-loved pub happily serving Romiley residents for over 200 years, The Friendship Inn is ideally located a short stroll from the shops and close to the beautiful Peak Forest Canal. Well served by its large car park to the rear, the pub also offers a cheerful children's play park with swings and slide overlooking the bowling green. There are three outside seating areas for a perfect pint in the sun, the first at the side of the playpark, the second undercover in our awesome marquee, and the third, a flower-filled patio.

Inside, the Friendship combines the traditional pub with a fresh and modern décor from Manchester bands to festival vibes. Sport is firmly on the menu with live sports from Sky and BT Sports. The well-stocked bar offers on draught a selection of Robinsons' cask ales, craft IPA as well as continental lagers, Guinness, and Strongbow. Bottled ciders and Trooper amongst the wide selection of bottled drinks, a great choice of gins, wines, and spirits. With a reputation for cocktails and music, the clientele ranges from after-work friends to a cracking atmosphere later on.
