Robinsons Brewery have released their penultimate seasonal beer for 2015 - Hop and Under – to celebrate the Rugby World Cup.
Robinsons’ 2015 range of handcrafted seasonal beers have been a huge hit; with each new seasonal beer outperforming their 2014 counterpart. So far, over half a million pints have been quaffed around the country.
Gill Yates, Brands Manager for Robinsons Brewery said: “It’s been an incredible year for our seasonal beers. Our last two ales, Mojo and Dizzy’s Twisted Sister, have become two of our top five selling seasonal beers in the last five years and we’re hoping that Hop and Under will continue that trend.”
The 4.2% ABV golden ale was specially crafted by the Stockport brewer to be the perfect companion during the Rugby World Cup which starts on the 18th September. With a clean and refreshing taste, Hop and Under is complemented by a clean, balanced hop flavour resulting in a sessionable and moreish ale.
To celebrate the launch, Robinsons will be giving away 72 free pints* of Hop and Under at their award-winning Visitors Centre on Apsley Street, Stockport from 10am on Thursday 10th September.
Gill said: “We’ve designed special bespoke pump clips for our English and Welsh pubs and their supporters. So whether you’re supporting England, Wales or your home nation, Hop and Under is the perfect match during the Rugby World Cup.”
Hop and Under is available in cask throughout September and October at select Robinsons pubs in the North West, Cumbria and North Wales, through national listings with Heineken and Carlsberg and at selected wholesalers.
