Robinsons Brewery have strengthened their core range of beers by introducing ‘Wizard’, a brand new amber beer alongside a new look for their legendary ale, Unicorn.
Available in both cask and 500ml bottles, we showcased the new look for our old favourite Unicorn, together with the rband new liquid, Wizard, and a sleek new tabbing system, revealed for the first time at our Tenant's Trade Show; held at St Helen's RLFC Stadium.
Inspired by a local Cheshire legend, The Wizard of Alderley Edge, Wizard is a new 3.7% ABV ale that marks the next in a long line of handcrafted ales that the brewer has released in its 177 year history.

In keeping with the Robinsons family of pump clips, which have in the past incorporated wood, slate and tiled finishes, this new bespoke pump clip looks as if it was chiselled directly from rock face of Alderley Edge with vibrant magma representing the amber colour of the ale.
The lower ABV of Wizard is not only a response to the recent BBPA (British Beer and Pub Association) pledge to remove 1.3 billion units of alcohol from the UK market before the end of 2015 but also a reply to changing consumer tastes.

Robinsons also premiered a brand new look for its legendary ale, Unicorn. The 4.2% ABV golden ale, has been brewed since 1896, continues to be the most popular ale in Robinsons’ core range with over 4 million pints quaffed on a yearly basis. The change in look also represents the 10 year anniversary of the beer’s name change from Best Bitter to Unicorn.
