A little more about us

Today, The Drum and Monkey is owned by the famous local brewer, Robinsons, based nearby in Stockport and is managed, on behalf of the licensee, by Nicci and her front of house team. We are a family friendly pub and welcome well-behaved dogs. There is a large patio area at the edge of the secluded beer garden - perfect for al fresco dining on sunny days. Inside, we have two separate dining areas seating 14/16 people in each but away from the main bar area - one of which has a cosy fireplace to warm you on winters evenings. Head Chef and his team will endeavour to give you a lovely dining experience. Larger parties can be easily accommodated by booking online or by phone. Occasionally, we host music events and will throw on a barbecue when the English weather allows! The Drum is close to Alderley Edge’s main shopping area and the train station is nearby, making it easily accessible to all our guests.
